British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Derby. Son of William and Sarh Anne Bolsover, of Abbey Street, Derbyshire. Husband of Matilda Bolsover, of 2, Albion Buildings, Albion Street, Derby. He was a slater’s labourer prior to enlisting 31st August 1914 at Derby.  He went to France, 12th August 1915 and was killed in action, 14th February 1916, aged 34, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
