British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Salford. Son of Alfred and Jane Margaret Bloore, of 56 Garden Street, Lower Broughton, Salford. He was a tuner prior to enlisting 8th May 1915 at Manchester. He went to France 1st June 1916 and was transferred to the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 10th April 1918. He died from the effects of gas, 20th August 1918, aged 20.
