Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Derby son of William and Rebecca Bloor, of 21 Exeter Street, Derby. He was a sanitary labourer for Derby Corporation prior to enlisting at Derby. He served in India before going to France 8th September 1914. He was killed in action, 9th August 1915, in the attack at Sanctuary Wood, near Ypres, Belgium.
