Born and lived in Derby. Son of Frederick Blood and Rachel Barber (formerly Blood), of 117, Grange Street, Derby. He was an errand boy prior to enlisting on 7th April 1915 at Derby. He was discharged on 5th September 1918 due to sickness. He died on 25th February 1919, aged 24.
