Battalion: 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Kirton Lindsey, Lincolnshire and lived at 71, Alfred Street, Nottingham. Son of John Samuel and Ann Blissett. He was a saddle and harness maker prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action on 26th April 1916, whilst attacking 25 Northumberland Road, Dublin, during the Irish Rebellion.
Buried: Deans Grange Cemetery, Republic of Ireland. Plot SW, Row T1, Grave 85.
