Born at Greetham, Rutland and lived at Leicester. Son of Charles and Ann Bland, of 25 Middle Street, Leicester. Husband of Lottie Bland. He was employed at a rubber factory prior to enlisting at Leicester. He went to France 17th August 1915 and died of wounds, 31st October 1917.
