Lived at Langley Mill, Derbyshire. Husband of Lizzie Blanchard, of 16, Wellington Street, Heanor, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, 6th February 1917, aged 26, whilst serving in the line at Wieltje, Belgium.
