Lance Sergeant John Horace Blake

Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Son of William and Betsy Blake, of 53, Beardwell Street, Hucknall. He enlisted at Derby, went to France 4th November 1914 and died of wounds 19th September 1915.

Buried : Merville Communal Cemetery, France. Plot IV. Row C, Grave 8.
