Private Arthur Bircumshaw

Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Nottingham Son of Kate Bircumshaw, of 18, Balfour Road, Lenton Sands, Nottingham. He was a telephone mechanic, for the National Telephone Company prior to enlisting 26th August 1911 at Nottingham. He went to France 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 13th October 1915, during the attack on the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France.
