British War and Victory MedalBorn at Hanley Rundall, Surrey and lived at Nottingham.  Adopted Son of John Bilton, of 47, Pownall Crescent, Colchester, Essex. He was a clerk prior to enlisting 19th October 1914 at Nottingham. He was admitted to Carrington Military Hospital, 11th November 1915 suffering from phthisis (tuberculosis) and died 30th December 1915, age 35.
