British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Gloucester and lived at Warsop, Nottinghamshire. Son of George and Emma Bill, of 54 Alexandra Street, Warsop. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He went to France 27th August 1915 and was killed in action, 25th September 1915,  whilst in the line near La Chapelle, D’Armentieres.
