Born and lived at Nottingham. Husband of Lois Billington, of 2, Melton Terrace, Nottingham. He was a machine clerk prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 19th November 1917, during the German shelling of the trenches near Langemarck, Belgium.
