British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Nottingham and lived at 11 West Street, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Son of John and Constance Bennett, of 158, London Road, Nottingham. He was an electrical engineer prior to enlisting on 26th October 1914 at Chesterfield. He went to France on 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 28th June 1915, age 32, whilst serving in the trenches at Kemmel, Belgium.
