Born and lived at Ockbrook, Derbyshire. Son of Arthur William and Margaret Rodgers (formerly Bennett), of Victoria Avenue, Ockbrook, Derby. He was a Railway Clerk prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 14th July 1915 and died of wounds 12th July 1916, aged 21.
