Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of William and Mary Belshaw, of 12, Eastville Street, Nottingham. He was an office boy for an estate agent prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 18th March 1915 and died of wounds at 1st Eastern Cambridge Hospital, 17th May 1915, aged 19.
