Private Henry Bellamy

Battalion: 2/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
He was born at Ridlington, Rutland and lived Warren Farm, Cottesmore, Rutland. Son of George and Mary Bellamy, of Ridlington. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He went to France 15th July 1917 and was killed in action, 26th September 1917, during the attack at St. Julian, near Ypres, Belgium.
