Son of William and Rose Eva Bell, of 28, Queens Road, Jesmond, Newcastle-On-Tyne. He was a clerk prior to enlisting 4th October 1916 at Newcastle. He went to France 14th August 1918 and died, 26th October 1918, age 19, of the effect of mustard gas poisoning at 26 General Hospital, Etaples, France.
