Born At Oxton, Cheshire and lived at 297 Old Chester Road, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead. Son of John James Bell and Elizabeth Ann Bell, of “Malvina,” Heath Road, Bebington, Merseyside. He was a plumber prior to enlisting 18th November 1915 at Liverpool. He was later transferred to the 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment and died, 5th May 1921, aged 29, of Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
