Battalion: 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of James and Florence Bell, of Mount Annan, Albemarle Road, Woodthorpe, Nottinghamshire. Killed in action whilst in the trenches near Eliverdinghe, near Ypres, Belgium.  30th October 1917, aged 20.

Commemorated : Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium. Panel 99 to 102 and 162 to 162A.
