British 1914 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Derby. Son of George and Annie Bell, of 37, Talbot Street, Derby; Husband of Annie Vessey (formerly Bell), of 26, Wellington Street, Derby. He was a general labourer prior to enlisting 5th September 1910 at Derby. He went to France 11th November 1914 and was killed in action, 16th September 1916, aged 23, during the attack at Guillemont, France during the Battle of the Somme.
