British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Hazelwood, Derbyshire. Son of Samuel and Jane Beeson, of Hazelwood. He was a domestic gardener prior to enlisting at Derby. He was killed in action, 7th June 1917, aged 27, in the attack on the German positions at Hill 60, near Ypres, Belgium.
