Lance Corporal Nathaniel Harry Beedham

Born in New York, United States of America and lived at Borrowash, Derbyshire. Son of Nathaniel H. and Julia Beedham, of Victoria Avenue, Borrowash. He was a Fitter prior to enlisting on 17th June 1914 at Derby. He went to France on 1st March 1915 and was appointed Lance Corporal, on 23rd November 1915. He suffered gunshot wounds to his right buttock and thigh on the 18th July 1916 and died of wounds, on 20th July 1916, age 21, at No 20. Casualty Clearing Station, Warlincourt, France.
