Son of Joe Kerr Beaumont and Emma Ann Beaumont, of Cemetery Road, Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. He was a shop assistant prior to enlisting in May 1908 at Mansfield, Nottingham. He went to France 8th September 1914 and was killed in action, 14th November 1915, age 25, whilst in the line at at St. Jean, Belgium.
