Born and lived at Sneinton Dale, Nottingham. Son of Albert and Eliza Beastall, of 39, Sedgley Avenue, Sneinton Dale, Nottingham. He was a postman prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 21st March 1918, aged 27, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
