Born at Northwood, Staffordshire. Husband of Fanny Beardmore, of 25, Alfred Street, Fenton, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. He enlisted at Stoke-On-Trent and was killed in action, 31st August 1916, aged 29, near Maltz Horn Trench, near Guillemont, France, during the Battle of the Somme
