Son of Arthur T. and Mary Bayfield, of 9, Victoria Terrace, Frinton-On-Sea, Essex. He was an electrical worker prior to enlisting at Essex. He suffered from gas poisoning at Kemmel, Belgium, and died 24th May 1919, age 27.
