Born and lived at Islington, London. Son of Arthur and Catherine Slayder Baxter, of 7, Gordon Street, Islington. He was a photographer prior to enlisting 13th February 1916 at Holloway, Middlesex. He went to France 26th February 1917 and was killed in action, 4th May 1917, age 23, during operation, Malakoff and Cologne, Farms, France.
