Born at Willoughby, Nottinghamshire and lived Irchester, Northamptonshire. Son of George Baxter. He enlisted at St. Pancras. London. Killed in action, 4th March 1917, whilst in the line near Chilly, France.

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
