Lance Corporal William Barratt

Battalion : 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Worcester and lived at Falmouth, Cornwall. Son of Elizabeth Barratt. He enlisted at Nottingham and went to France 26th January 1915. He was killed in action, 27th November 1916. whilst in the line near Beaumont Hamel, France.

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
