Born and lived at Tunstall, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. Son of John and Mary Elizabeth Price, of 5, Clanway Street, Tunstall. He was a cup handler prior to enlisting at Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. He was killed in action, 14th October 1918, aged 28, during the attack on the German positions at Cable Copse, Belgium.
