Born and lived in Nottingham. Husband of Eliza Barlow, of 6, Victoria Place, Walker Street, Sneinton, Nottingham. He was a dropper maker prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France on 25th June 1915 and died, 1st November 1918, aged 36, at No. 1 U.S.A General Hospital, Etretat, France.
