British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Clifton, Derbyshire. Son of Isaac and Annie Fowell (formerly Barker), of Dig Street, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Ashbourne, went to France on 25th February 1915 and was killed in action, 10th March 1917, aged 19, during the attack at Kite Copse near Gommecourt, France.
