Battalion: 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Edward and Edith Annie Barker, of 51, Rupert Street, Nottingham. He was a shop assistant prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 6th December 1917, aged 21, whilst serving in the line near Ribecourt, France.
