Battalion: 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Derby. Son of Aaron and Mary Anne Bannister, of 8, Cobden Street, Derby. He was a metalwork apprentice prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France on 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 31st October 1916, age 20, whilst Battalion at ‘F’ Camp near Montauban, France.
