Born at Beeston, Nottinghamshire and lived at Long Eaton, Derbyshire. Son of Robert and Harriet Baldwin, of 25, Orchard Street, Long Eaton. Husband of Florence Baldwin. He enlisted at Long Eaton and was killed in action, 15th June 1918, aged 21, whilst in the line in the sector of Gorre and Estaires, France.
