Battalion: 16th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Wickham Market, Suffolk. Son of Thomas and Ann Baker, of 11, East Stockwell Street, Colchester, Essex. He was an apprentice engineer prior to enlisting at Colchester. He went to France on 12th June 1915 and died of gas poisoning on 23rd November 1917, aged 22.
