Battalion: 16th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at New Mills, Derbyshire. Son of James and Sarah Jane Bagshaw, of 44, Bank Side, New Mills, Derbyshire. He worked in a cotton mill prior to enlisting at Buxton, Derbyshire. He was killed in action, 14th July 1916, whist serving in the line near Ferme du Bois, France.
