Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Ezra and Betsy Bagnall, of 1 Spring Street, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Nottingham on 14th March 1912. He went to France on 27th December 1914 and died of wounds on 18th February 1915.
