Battalion: 2/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born in Morley, Yorkshire. Son of John and Jane E. Bagley, of East Lea, Marsden, Yorkshire. He was a card nailer prior to enlisting 3rd July 1917 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire. He went to France on 1st April 1918 and was killed in action, 14th April 1918, age 19, during the German attack near Kemmel, Belgium.
