Born at Wolstanton, Staffordshire. Son of Mr J. Baddeley, of 6, Newport Street, Dalehall, Burslem, Staffordshire. Served in the Gallipoli campaign with the 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, during 1915. He died of wounds, 19th August 1917, at No. 19 Casualty Clearing Station, Duisans whilst serving with the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
