Born at Nottingham. Son of James and Ada Bacon, of Nottingham. He lived at 60 Saville Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham and enlisted at Nottingham. Killed in action, 3rd September 1916, aged 18, during the attack near Beaumont Hamel, France during the Battle of the Somme.
