Born and lived at Bulwell, Nottinghamshire. Son of George and Annie Bacon, of 43, Ingram Road, Bulwell. He was a perambulator painter prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action on 3rd October 1918, in the attack and capture of Ramicourt, France.
