Son of Mary Elizabeth Axhorn, of 134, Parrott Street, Winson Green, Birmingham. He was a solderer and metal worker prior to enlisting at Birmingham on 9th February 1916. He went to France on 2nd March 1917 and was killed in action, 30th July 1917, aged 25., during the attack near Bellewaarde Lake, Belgium.
