Son of Alfred Norman and Hilda M. Averre, of 34, Lawn Gardens, Hanwell, London. He enlisted at Ealing, Middlesex and after transferring to the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment was killed in action, 21st June 1918, aged 21, whilst serving with the Battalion at Puchevillers, France.
