Battalion: 2/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Lincoln. Son of George Henry and Henrietta Atkinson, of 41, Cavendish Square, Sheepbridge, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Chesterfield, Derbyshire and was killed in action, 21st March 1918, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact).
