Lance Corporal Alfred Atkin

He was born in York and lived at Elvington. Second son of Robert Edward and Julia Atkin, of Church Lane, Elvington, near York. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at York and was killed in action on 6th April 1918, aged 32.
