Born in Norwich. Norfolk. Son of Harriet Waters. He lived at Eckington, Yorkshire and enlisted at Sheffield. He went to France on 22nd June 1915 and was killed in action, 9th August 1915, during the attack at Sanctuary Wood, Belgium.
