Born at Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Son of Joseph and Fanny Arrowsmith, of 1 Church Terrace, Nottingham. Husband of Lilian Arrowsmith, of 4, Dunkirk Road, Old Lenton, Nottingham. He was employed at Boots the Chemist in Nottingham prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France on 25th February 1915 and was killed in action, 29th October 1918, aged 29, during the attack on the St. Quentin Canal and the Hindenburg Line, France.
