Born at Litchfield, Staffordshire. Son of Jesse and Elizabeth Arnold, of 18, Church Street, Lichfield, Staffs; husband of Edith Arnold, of Cemetery Lodge, Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent. He enlisted at Litchfield and was Killed in action, 21st March 1918, aged 30, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
