A native of Hasland, Derbyshire. Son of A. and E. S. Arnold; husband of Mabel Arnold, of 5, Devonshire Avenue, Hasland, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Chesterfield and died of wounds, 1st March 1917, aged 29, at No. 4 General Hospital, Camiers, France.

Buried: Etaples Military Cemetery, France. Plot 21, Row K, Grave 3.
